High (on) Fashion questions the problematics of the textile industry and our views on clothes, waste and fashion. With a captivating combination of floor acrobatics, physical theater and her signature Chinese pole dance style, Clara Köpf invites the audience to reflect on the impact of overconsumption and the madness of fast fashion. Are we wearing clothes or clothes are wearing us? How many clothes are a lot and how many are too much?

High (on) Fashion bevraagt de problematiek van de textielindustrie en onze kijk op kleding, afval en mode. 

Met een boeiende combinatie van vloeracrobatiek, fysiek theater en haar kenmerkende dansstijl op de Chinese Mast nodigt Clara Köpf het publiek uit om na te denken over de impact van overconsumptie en de waanzin van fast fashion. Dragen we kleren of dragen kleren ons? Hoeveel kleding is veel en hoeveel is te veel?

Na de voorstelling is er ruimte voor een ‘clothing swap’.

Clara studeerde in 2024 af aan Codarts Circus Arts en creëerde direct haar eigen voorstelling High (on) Fashion. Deze nieuwe creatie is geïnspireerd op de ecologische en sociale problemen die de fast fashion industrie veroorzaakt.
