Julia Kiryanova & the Alternation ProjectA provocative performance comprising painting, tapestry, sound, projection and painted bodies that explores a terrain of spellbound bodies engaged in a dramatic power struggle through the drawing and casting of spells.
A grimoire is a book of spells used for occult purposes but our version is to utilize this spelling to create greater lucidity about the dynamics of our hypermediated and irrevocably spellbound lives.
May 23-25, Friday to Sunday; 8 pm Installation viewing, 9 pm performance on the 23rd and 24th, Friday and Saturday; 7pm Installation viewing , 8 pm performance on the 25th, Sunday.
