All Marmalade, no toast (or maybe just a little). For years Lady Marmalade has heard the call to bring a full night of her word-based magic to the theatre on her own — stories, poetry, scenes, songs and raw, unscripted conversation. Tonight she heeds that call.

Supported by musicians Florian Freiheiss and Chatte de Basse, the show flows between carefully crafted pieces and moments spun entirely from what the audience brings. The music holds it all together. The fourth wall is gone from the start.

Lady Marmalade was born in the Burlesque scene. She always brings a dose of glamour… but don't let the make-up fool you. She will be as honest with you as she hopes you’ll be with her. Together we will consider what makes feelings flow, what pisses us off, the secret to eternal bliss, the ever-elusive perfect pasta, and why those damn fat bikes are still around. In short: you decide what she speaks to. By the end, there will be a collective manifesto we never knew we needed — and very much did.

Feel free to dress up – she will. Feel free to speak up – she will.
