Een rauwe, filmische dansperformance over de onlosmakelijke verstrengeling van liefde in rouw. Twee lichamen bewegen tussen herinnering en realiteit, vastgelopen in verlies, zoekend naar elkaar. Hoe troost je iemand als je zelf gebroken bent? Hoe hervind je licht als de duisternis alles opslokt?
Begeleid door een atmosferische post-rock/shoegaze soundtrack ontvouwt zich een hallucinerende reis door beukend licht, vervagende schaduwen en dromerige visioenen. Een ruimte waarin verleden en heden samensmelten, waar spelers en publiek zich laten meevoeren door de diep menselijke behoefte aan verbinding en het mysterie van voelen.
Requiem for a Young Soul is een pleidooi voor de veerkracht van de geest te midden van rouw. Een toevluchtsoord waar je zowel verloren als gevonden kunt zijn.

A gripping, cinematic dance performance about how coping with untimely loss can lead to intimacy and resilience. How can one help the other when both are frozen in pain? How can we gallop like young foals again? Who am I without the other? What am I living for?
Guided by a raw, atmospheric post rock/shoegaze soundtrack, two bodies lose themselves in the tug of war between love and grief. An emotional, disorienting chase through memories. Enigmatic visions, shattering and refracting light, shadows in darkness. Both the performers and the audience are entranced by a space where past and present collide.
